[x] This journal is basically used as a "private outlet" for my own personal thoughts, feelings and emotions. So do accept that unless I either know you very well, or you really do interest me (eg: we have stuff in common etc.) I really don't care if I know you or not. Whether you percieve that to be harsh or not is all up to you. I really am a nice girl when you get to know me though! :)

[x]
Lots of love goes out to [info]anakaliaandrea and [info]minty_peach for helping me out with coding my layout, the lovely friends only banner and the layout overall. Without you guys, none of this would be possible.

[x] The only entries in this journal that will stay "public" are the ones with the heading "Writers Block." I don't care too much if you read those.

[x] I will not add the following people: stalkers, thieves, those who criticize everything (what I say and do is really none of your business - so if you don't like it then you know where the door is), annoying people, spammers and you get the drift I'm supposing. :D

[x] Last of all, I'd very much like to give a shout out to my current friends - you guys seriously make my world even more awesome!! Thanks a lot for sticking by me when my world gets tough!  :)

Question: All it takes is a blackout to realize how much we rely on electricity. What's your most memorable story from a power outage?

Answer: Oh, there was one really memorable time where we had a black out and as usual, none of our family knew it was about to happen (like that's how it's supposed to be with all families, I guess :P) but anyway, so it was pretty dark outside and I was in my room on the computer (or so I think) so then the power goes out. We're all pretty shocked at this stage, so none of us spoke a word until my sister piped up from the lounge room excliaming, "I CAN'T SEE!" and I swear I just cracked up laughing. It was that funny. Cause obviously your not supposed to be able to see in a black out! Yeah, blonde moment much?! Haha. Good times, good times.

Question: If you had to choose between your friends and your significant other, who would you choose?

Answer:
There was a time (high school) where I'd choose my friends above anything else. Okay, minus family of course but still. Anyway, the point I'm making is that we used to be close, my ex-bestie and I. We were pretty much inseparable, like the majority of besties are these days. But now we don't talk anymore. Why? Well, she was a compulsive liar. She would tell me straight to my face that she was "married" like a hundred times or some crap, tell me these things were her husbands were in bikie gangs and then the next week she'd explain he'd been "murdered." She'd then go on to explain to me the next week that she was pregnant, had cancer (how low could anyone get was beyond me - oh and even worse, I believed her and cried over it). So nevertheless, I eventually grew some "balls" after 8+ long years of being her friend and moved on with life. Apparently she's still lying and continuing to do whatever makes her "happy" and I'm thrilled I'm not apart of her life anymore. The end.

Oh and for the record, in this point of time I'd choose my significant other. We've been together for two glorous years to just let that slip through my fingers now. And I love him. We're engaged and planning the rest of our lives together. And besides, my friends and I aren't really as close as we used to be anyway. So yep. There you have it. My answer.

PS: To my friends who might stumble accross this: well, you already knew what my answer was. But doesn't mean I wouldn't want to talk to you anymore.

Question: Do you ever do anything now that you swore you would never do when you were younger? What is it?

Answer: Yeah, I got to admit that when I was younger - actually, a couple of years back in high school when I first stared I swore I'd never participate in any sort of physical activity. Whether this be sports or any other stranuous activity that would involve effort, and well, physical exhaustion. I suppose it was due to being practically lazy kids and not ever wanting to do anything (haha, yeah like much has changed!). But yeah, nowadays I participate in going to the gym - why? Because I need to lose weight and get fit and healthy for when I has babies. :)

You can pretty much thank Cain for getting me to stop being such a lazy bitch anyway. :D

Question: Are you worried about catching the swine flu? Do you have a plan for avoiding contagion or dealing with quarantine?

Answer: Not in the slightest bit worried, actually. First and foremost I hardly ever go out, have contact with people and pretty much put myself into a position where I could be a carrier. Plus I live in Australia, we don't have it here and I pretty much don't think customs would be stupid enough to actually let any Mexicans or anyone from around that region come into our country without proper medical care or at least a check up. So why should I be worried?

Question: If you knew that a friend's significant other was cheating on him or her, would you tell your friend the truth or keep it to yourself?

Answer: Personally, I think being such a loyal friend I'd likely tell my friend what I know (since obviously I'd want to know, too). And to be completely honest, if they were really a true friend of mine they'd believe me because there's no way in hell I could ever lie about something like this to them. I'd have too much of a guilty concious myself to even consider the concept of lying about cheating and whatnot. However, if this so called "friend" was someone that I really didn't associate with or didn't care much about I probably wouldn't tell them as I wouldn't care about as much as what happens between them. Know what I mean? I know I sound a bit like a hypocrite, with wanting to know myself, but yeah. I suppose that's how it is with me. Maybe I'd go ahead and tell someone else about it and let them deal with it. At least the weight would practically be off my shoulders about it. >_>

What's the story behind my username?

Actually, that's a rather interesting question now that you mention it. I have a friend called Audrey and we were messing around chatting on MSN when randomly, out of the blue she called me 'Emmerz.' Yes, at first I thought it was kind of weird, but eventually I started to like it and it pretty much became my nickname. It was our special name thing. :) I called her Audderz, too (just out of good measure) and everything then just stuck after that day. On my VCE 2006 jacket, it has on the back "Emmerz" and below that "2006." I'll always tresure those memories. :)

As for "awesome," well for one I do say that I'm awesome quite a bit and well, I just thought it would have been good to go with my name. Plus I didn't want any names with underscores since they make your username look weird. Well, thats what I think anyway.

There you have it, I suppose: the origin of my LJ username. :P

If I won the lottery, there would be a number of things I'd likely do.
(These probably aren't going to be in the correct order, mind you... :P)

1) Pay off school loans & buy school books for my course.
2) Buy a couple of cars. One for me, mum, brother and sister.
3) Invest the majority of it. Likely in bank accounts with heaps of interest.
4) Go on a well deserved holiday to the US and Japan. :D
5) Buy my way into Justin Hartley's pants. LMAO.
6) Donate some to the fire victims. I'd be heartless not to.
7) Go on a massive shopping spree.
8) Get my own place.
9) Pay for IVF if I have to. Don't ask.
10) Pay off all outstanding debts, etc.

Then after all that's said and done, I could then (with my family) live a happy, carefree life without the stresses of current life.

Life could seriously be a dream then... Too bad dreams never do become a reality though, in my world they don't anyway.
